I have been around guns all of my life, but I purchase a handgun last year out of interest in the hobby of shooting and home protection.  I attended Doug’s class because I wanted to get training in the proper use and safety associate with the ownership of a firearm.   The class that Doug gave was an excellent presentation of what I was looking for. His style and approach to training was thorough and thoughtful.  I highly recommend Hat Trick Training to anyone serious about learning about the proper use and safety of owning a firearm.

I thought you did a great job of going through the basics and inserting real-life examples for clarification. Due to the covid pandemic, I thought the classroom you set up was ideal and I felt safe. I appreciated your instruction at the range. I also appreciated the fact that you didn't talk down to me or belittle me for my lack of experience.

Really appreciated your class and your presentation. Exceeded my expectations and especially appreciated the "smaller" class size. The cost of the class is very reasonable especially when it included the range fee.
