Thanks for the great course. I found it highly informative and beneficial. I was on the fence about carrying but with the way the world is now and the direction it appears to be going I now feel that I need to carry, especially for my family.

I appreciate all your patience and having a preset shooting drill schedule.  I think as far as getting more comfortable with the pistol, I definitely accomplished that. I will be practicing a couple of times a month, I will reach out with questions and maybe another shooting lesson.

Thank you for all the information you gave us today.  Learned a lot of things I wasn’t aware of.   I really don’t have any negative feedback at all!   Things you did well we’re as follows:

1. Good communication, great email reminders and the thing I like about you the most is you’re not afraid to pick up a phone and talk in person.
2. Organization, great presentation, and slides that you knew very well. 
3. Knowledgeable, you know the laws well, the dos and don’ts and we able to easily answer all questions.  You know a lot about guns and gun handling.  Watching you hold guns and use safety was an excellent example for all students.
4. Probably the most important for me is that you are very well-spoken.  Being in the medical field I have heard countless people talk, what gets me immediately is when speakers say “um” as a space filler.  Never heard you say it once!  You speak well and keep people engaged in what you are saying is my point.

I thought the Minnesota Permit to Carry by Hat Trick Training was fantastic. Doug was knowledgeable and informative with a wide range of information and he made the shooting portion of the class easy with his patient and calm demeanor. I would recommend this class to anyone!

I thought the permit to carry class put on by Doug Taylor was well done.  Doug is very knowledgeable in the topic presented. You can tell throughout the class that he is very passionate about gun safety and about protecting you and yours. Doug also has credentials and training from several different organizations which helps with his presentation and to answer the class’s questions.    Doug used real-life examples to communicate the point he was trying to make.  I will be recommending to all of my friends who are interested in getting a permit to carry to take Doug's class.
