Loved the class. You did a great job of education. You did a wonderful piece of teaching to savvy experienced folks and brand new gun users without making anyone nervous or inadequate. Very talented approach and you also came across as wonderfully experienced while very humble.  Cheers to you.

Once again, Candy and I would like to thank you for the great instructional permit to carry class. The four-hour class flew by fast. You're a true professional and very passionate about what you teach.  At the shooting range you made both of us feel very comfortable.  We are looking forward to further training, and of course practice at the range.

Great class today Doug. I valued the discussions around different real-life scenarios that may be encountered. The class was at a convenient location, time, and at a fair price. Definitely will recommend to family and friends that are looking for Permit to Carry training. I'll be in touch in the future for one on one training.

I’d like to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciated the gun knowledge and safety class that you presented. I went into the class at the request of a friend with whom I’d gone to a shooting range. She emphasized the importance of gun knowledge and safety, and that I was pretty much a neophyte in gun knowledge.  While I disagreed and thought I knew most everything I needed to know beforehand, I was really taken back by how much I really did not know.   The overview and specifics of gun handling, the vast number of sizes, calibers, functioning, mechanisms, owning and carrying regulations, liabilities, and insurance were all new to me. The emphasis on safety and legal aspects were especially enlightening. You made it interesting with some anecdotal examples. In other words, it became an entertaining learning experience. We’ll be in contact with you for some individual instruction after I get my permit.
