We thought your class was great! Being my first time, I learned a lot and my husband said he did too even though it was a refresher course for him.  We not only learned about gun safety but also about being aware of our surroundings and giving good tips on diffusing confrontation.  We will highly recommend your class to our friends.

Doug, thank you for the permit class. My wife and I enjoyed it and both thought it was thorough and very informative. And, as a plus, we had fun. I’d like to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciated the gun knowledge and safety class that you presented. I went into the class at the request of a friend with whom I’d gone to a shooting range. She emphasized the importance of gun knowledge and safety, and that I was pretty much a neophyte in gun knowledge.  While I disagreed and thought I knew most everything I needed to know beforehand, I was really taken back by how much I really did not know.   The overview and specifics of gun handling, the vast number of sizes, calibers, functioning, mechanisms, owning and carrying regulations, liabilities, and insurance were all new to me. The emphasis on safety and legal aspects were especially enlightening. You made it interesting with some anecdotal examples. In other words, it became an entertaining learning experience. We’ll be in contact with you for some individual instruction after I get my permit.
