Doug is amazing! He and his wife have put together an all-encompassing course on firearm safety, knowledge, and confidence.

I came into this class having very little experience with firearms and had a bit of a fear of the unknown.  Immediately this taboo was dissolved as Doug walked us through the ins and outs of firearm safety.  His teaching style is warm and eloquent. 

He also respects his students’ questions and adds a bit of humor to his presentation.  I give this course 5 out of 5 stars!  You will thoroughly enjoy your experience and feel confident going forward.

I thought the permit to carry class put on by Doug Taylor was well done.  Doug is very knowledgeable in the topic presented. You can tell throughout the class that he is very passionate about gun safety and about protecting you and yours. Doug also has credentials and training from several different organizations which helps with his presentation and to answer the class’s questions.   

Doug used real-life examples to communicate the point he was trying to make.  I will be recommending to all of my friends who are interested in getting a permit to carry to take Doug’s class.

Once again, Candy and I would like to thank you for the great instructional permit to carry class. The four-hour class flew by fast. You’re a true professional and very passionate about what you teach.  At the shooting range you made both of us feel very comfortable.  We are looking forward to further training, and of course practice at the range.

I really enjoyed your class and learned a lot. I am not an experienced hand gun user, but thought your class was exactly what I was looking for. It provided valuable insights about gun handling, carrying, legal considerations, and most importantly…safety.

Thanks again Doug for Saturday morning at the VFW. You were very knowledgeable in the presentation of weapons and how to use them. It was very impressive how you made a point in saying that every gun should be treated as if it is loaded.

When you were explaining something from a different piece of equipment, you would always check to see that it was not loaded even though we all knew it. I don’t know how much I’m going to carry, but it sure impressed me on how you could carry that small weapon of yours and not have it be so obvious. Again appreciated your presentation today.
